The project has encountered multiple roadblocks. The ethics approval at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital has been obtained in November 2018. All contracts required were signed in December 2018. The ethics approval at the Douglas Mental Health Institute was obtained in December 2019, while the ethics approval at the Jewish General Hospital is still pending. We have recruited 25 subjects, but two had to be withdrawn for safety reasons (metal objects implanted). We are expecting an increase in recruitment rate for the remainder of the project given the addition of a second site (Douglas) with high clinical volume and the upcoming 3rd recruitment site.
