MEDTEQ+ and Brain Canada Foundation join forces to accelerate innovation in mental health

MEDTEQ+ and the Brain Canada Foundation are joining forces in an innovative partnership to accelerate innovation in mental health and make it more accessible to Canadians.

While the pandemic has had a significant impact on mental health, aging populations and the explosion of chronic diseases exacerbate the need for innovative solutions to better manage the mental health care of the population.

With their complementary expertise in health innovation and brain health, MEDTEQ+ and the Brain Canada Foundation are joining forces to foster the development and implementation of new technological tools to improve access to mental health care and services. These innovations will be based on the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, telehealth, virtual reality, digital therapeutics, and will leverage decades of world-class Canadian brain health research for economic development and impact for patients and populations.
