MEDTEQ and Sheba Medical Center join forces to foster the growth of the medical technologies’ ecosystem.
Montreal, October 22, 2018 – The Consortium for Industrial Research and Innovation in Medical Technologies, MEDTEQ (Canada), and Sheba Medical Center (Israel) are proud to announce the signature of an agreement aiming to foster the growth of the medical technologies’ ecosystem on a global scale. This agreement aims to facilitate collaboration opportunities, knowledge transfer and support of startups.
Collaborative engagement towards healthcare of the future
MEDTEQ and Sheba Medical Center, together with its Innovation Centre, are partnering in order to grow their ecosystems. They will look to identify opportunities for collaboration between companies and institutions, facilitating access to complementary resources including events, networks and innovation support services, with special focus on SMEs. They will also work to support joint projects and challenges.
As a Centre of Excellence for Commercialisation and Research, MEDTEQ, through its 150 members – SMEs and large healthcare technology companies, universities, teaching hospitals and support organizations – has a pan-Canadian reach. Collaborations with members and partners across the country aim to support world class innovations in the medtech sector.
